The new Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog was released in the United Kingdom on the 1st of October, it is valid until the 30th of September 2012.

It has a lot of new stamps, another set of five new in-colors, all new Designer papers and gorgeous ribbons and embellishments. Last Chance List for 2010-2011 catalogue

Well with the best of intentions, I have not been able to do any stamping, but hey, I have bought a lot of stamping stuff - On the 1st of September the Last Chance List was published by Stampin'Up - it's the day that the retiring product list is out, these products will not be carried over to the new Idea Book & Catalogue 2011-2012, which comes out on 1st October 2011.

So, if you are like me and like Stampin' Up!® product then there are two important things you would need to do!

1. Check the list of items that are retiring! By clicking on the link, which will take you to the Stampin' Up!® website to see what's retiring on the list, this will be up dated every Monday. If there's something you want, Please, let me know asap so I can place the order - as all these items will only be available while stocks last.

2. Get your new Idea Book & Catalogue on order! Please do this as soon as possible as I need to order these from Stampin' Up! in the next few days. If you are coming to my launch party, you will receive your catalogue at the event (details to follow soon). If you are not able to come to my launch party, I can post one to you for just £5.95 including postage, which is a bargain! But I WOULD have to receive payment in the next few days so that I know the numbers I would need to order.

Hey Good Morning my stamping friends and everyone who visits here... The New Mini Catalogue went LIVE! It is simply fabulous and so very exciting that I am left with my mouth open and a huge order to go in soon. Its got the BIG SHOT DIE Cutting Machine with the most amazing dies exclusive to Stampin-up!!

Its getting better and better with Stampin Up in the UK and its a better Mini we have had yet and it has really got most of the stuff sold in the US mini, so you no longer got to be jealous!!

Europe Convention 2011 - Addington Palace

Well, I got home earlier than expected from convention as I was in too much pain and could not take it any longer...

We (Sandra & I) got to the Hotel Thursday evening and began working on Sandra's swaps! we had a really lovely dinner and joined Jo Dumble's group for a make and take, which was lovely and met a lot of nice demo ladies!

Friday morning it was a rush, as we had to take the coach to the Palace at 7.45am which was pretty early for me, as it takes me hours to actually come out since I suffer from pain. Shellie Gardner - CEO and co-founder of Stampin'Up was there to great us! she was looking radiant as ever, haven't a clue how she manages to keep up looking so calm and fresh!!

Upon registration we collected a sassy retro design goody bag and we also got little badges to say we were 1st timers there..

We also got a chance to buy some goodies at the momento mall - then we went off to get our project of paper, ink and pad completed, and while I was doing that, I saw Kathy walking towards that room, and we greeted each other, we have been friends since 2003 on line and got to meet up finally........... it was really great meeting you Kathy!

We then exchanged swaps - I must say I loved some of the swaps!! Thank you to all the ladies that swapped with me!! I shall get you all pictures of the huge pile I have soon!!

The awards dinner was lovely, I met two more demo's that sat on our table with Sandra and myself - Thank you Elaine and Allison for your company! it was a late night and I was in a lot of pain, so when we got back to the hotel, we made a decision to leave early so that I could get home and rest, and that is exactly what I did - I went to sleep and when I was up took a real hot bath, my Honey cooked a really great meal!!

The next convention for 2011 is in Disney Land Paris!! if you would like to have fun and join into this lovely group of fun crafting let me know!!

Well it is Stampin'Up Europe Convention time...

a whole month has passed by, I could not get on to the internet, it has been up and down!! it is still so slow that I get very frustrated and simply don't want to get on the internet.... never mind, I have made a promise to myself, that I will stop moaning about things in my life....

I am heading to the convention which is on the 5th and 6th of November.... I am looking forward to it!!

I am feeling much better, my back pain seems to be behaving itself, but I am still having other problems, and I feel the longer I ignore them they may disappear, but then there is no hope of that, as it get worst than before....

has flow by so quickly, I have been busy with daily appointments with the various clinics I attend to control my pain issues!! I have also made some progress in my craft room, and will soon be posting up pics....

Quite a weekend.........searching for my lost mojo!

Well, this weekend was fabulous, the weather, food et all... Chris took me to the Chambridge fair - it was fun, specially as we heard this young band - Th' Parish, it was fab, the singer had a style that was amazing - reminded me of one of the woodstock bands!! well I got their CD, with the singer to sign it, so in the near future I will say, I met this band in person!! Ha haha!
Health wise, I am doing a lot better, and hoping that my hands get better and better! on another note, my friend Kathy is going away for the summer, so I am feeling a bit sad as I will miss her, specially our chats!! have a fun trip girl and we shall stay in touch!
I don't have any cards to post, as I have found out I have simply lost my mojo... am trying so if I do get inspired I will be back with it soon! Take care and have a fun sunny day! it been dull here, but it is dry!! Thank you for stopping by!! Hugs always!

Great Sunny weather........and some cards

I had made these cards some time ago, for the England Stampers mingle - Feminine Vintage! but never got down to posting them, so here they are... Hope you like them!

I am keeping myself positive, Chris went camping this weekend, to take part in an Amateur Radio Contest in Catworth, Cambridgeshire - so I cooked lunch for the boys today, on the menu was Saffron Rice, Chicken Chatpata, Goan Vindaloo, Cucumber Raitha with lots of papadums! well when we got back there was nothing left over! so I think they liked the food! All the chopping was done by Chris before he left for his ARC expedition!! a good day was had by all!

I also managed to soak in some sun today! And now working on a project that I did not finish at a class I took last week! so I better put it together or I will forget what I need to do!!

To all my American friends a Happy 4th of July, when we lived in the US, I would be at the craft store getting my 50% coupons in action! I surely miss that!! at last take care, and thank you for visiting me here! I will be back with my project soon!

Oh my Goodness!! it has been the longest time MIA from blog Land for moi??? Well all I can say is wish you a great weekend and a sunny month of July! Although, I have not been posting cards, I tried to keep some of the Stampin'up news updated!!

So, you see I am still alive, obviously, as I am typing this yukk!!! I’ve been pretty ill with one problem after another, Its the pain that I am living with which is effecting my hands and I am not very happy about it!!Since nobody can find out what is causing the pain it has made me very depressed, specially when your mind is racing with ideas and things you want to do, but your body is simply saying no!! Well, my hobby of Stamping has kept me sane, not sure that I am stamping a lot, but believe me buying a lot of stuff....

In the last few month I’ve moved out of my craft room into my newly built stamping studio, as I like to call it! I promise I will post some photos of it soon, possibly this week, if I don't have more bouts of pain!

So I hope you are not bored with my post, I do have a few cards made and will surely post them soon, and as soon as I have my Stampin' Studio up and working I do intend to be back in full swing and pray my body will behave itself!!

Well, I wish I had the energy leave alone, or even the desire to do some stamping or any work at all! I feel so ill and zapped out, that the most is about an hour spent on the computer browsing or reading e-mails!! This last bacterial attack I have had has been going on for sometime and it has been pretty nasty to my body!! not to mention all the allergic reactions too! Although, we as demonstrators have had a sneak copy earlier than today, I have not been able to demo or show off any of the new stuff... as you all know, I am suffering with pain and there seems to be no end to it! not to mention the allergies and side effects the meds are causing is another thing all together......... well I shall not bore you with my miseries....

I woke up to the very sad news on Tuesday to hear Patrick Swayze had died - I was crazy about Dirty Dancing when it came out, and the movie Ghost?!! My husband and I watched an interview with him and his wife a little while ago on TV, He was so positive and his wife seemed so in love and supportive of him and his fight against the cancer. I really liked him as an actor and he seems to have been a good man in real life. Such a sad loss of someone so young, really thinking of his family today.

On Monday, I got this lovely card, the writing on the envelope looked familiar, it was post marked central Cambridge - I rushed and opened it, and I did not need to open it to look inside the card, I knew at once it was from Michelle, my up-line! they are her colours and style!! Thank you Michelle.

I hope we can someday soon stamp together! if I was not in so much pain and also having all the bits and bobs with it, I would have organised something, but it is so unpredictable!

Yes, I am still alive and getting better, but still have some issues with my meds. This week I don't have any physio, so I may have to be very careful. Please accept my apologies for being away for so long. The other reason that I have not been on here and stamping is because I am also having to deal with having my studio ready for me before October, when the new catalogue comes out!! The studio is almost ready, there are a few little bits and pieces to be done, will get the pictures as soon as it is fully set up!! I am so looking forward to it!

Anyway, all of the above things have just taken over my life, but I hope soon my health and all of the other things will be settling down a bit so here I am ... Here is Glenn's card, I made it to the sketch on the Stamping411 blog as I like their sketches, they are simple and easy, although I have missed a few, I hope to follow them later, when I feel better and have more time too! Hope you like this card!

I love this set, hope it will be in the new SU UK catalogue. My daughter got some sets for me when she came in February, she is coming home at the end of this month, and I will have my hands full of stamps, Designer paper and lots of goodies, I called her and said to put all of this stuff in the consignment... hahaha! cannot wait to have you home Babe, Love you! waves!

Today has been the first day since I have been feeling a little better, its been a couple of bad weeks - well I had all the good intentions specially as I was getting better, and then all went wrong. I have had so many health issues crop up that I have not been able to do a thing, except feel sorry for myself and more depressed than ever. I will not go into details as it only makes me feel worst than ever!!

I made an effort to come on here and thank each and every one of you for making me feel good and leaving me comforting messages, thank you so much it mean a lot to me, I know that there are people out there that do care and do visit my blog, even if it is to just pass by and sneak a peek... well, I hope I can post the card I am working on today, as I have to make this one, its a special one... hoping I can have it ready so that I will at least mail it by internet to my best friend.... whose birthday is on the 17th of August!!

I don't have a card to post as I have been in so much pain the last couple of days that I don't even know where I am, I can barely move, I am doubled up in pain. Hopefully tomorrow there will be some help, as I have my physio appointment! Chris is away and my dear neighbour has been so helpful! Oh thank God for all the people he sends our way!

I love my stamping hobby and I also love it that my DH supports my hobby and I have a nice room I work in and feel very lucky to have an entire room dedicated to my hobby of rubber stamping and paper crafting. I have about 400 stamp sets from Stampin'Up and many other companies with all the accessories that go with it! With all this lovely things I have, I feel so sad - as I have always enjoyed stamping/crafting with others, it is the most important thing with rubber stamping, having fun and enjoying and mostly sharing what I love and do! I have had so many workshops, and hoped that some one will come over and just sit along and stamp, but it has never happened!

So if you are reading this, you may wonder what is it! I haven't a clue, may be you can leave me a comment or let me know what I should do? When I lived in the US and in Dubai, I use to hide and make excuses as I had too many ladies interested in stamping, but here in England it seems like there is a problem!! well, I am also in that mood where I feel so ill, hence I am moaning about it!

My wonderful friend Kathy, lives too far, I wish we could do some stamping! So please let me know, How to fix this if you know how! Being a Stampin'Up demo, the motto is Inspire - Create - Share and I love doing all that with Stamping! See you tomorrow in a better frame of mind! Bye for now!

Stamping 411 - SSC 107

I will believe when someone says time flies, well I have been busy sorting out some family stuff and also my pain situation, so my stamping has taken a back seat, but not for long I hope! I worked on these cards on Sunday, but did not get the time to upload them, so here are the two I did for this sketch.

I saw this card on someone's blog I think, or it was not a card something to do with a cover, I simply cannot remember which blog, but I tried to keep it with the sketch, It uses the stamp set kind thoughts and heavenly days both retired. The card stock is always artichoke, bashful blue and whisper white. The flowers are paper flowers that I coloured with markers and water, and the ribbon is from my stash with accessories from the Hodge podge kit! Hope you'll like it!

This was one of the cards I had made for the Peterborough training swap, so it fit right in with the sketch, since I had all the paper ready, I quickly put it together! Here I have used Baroque motifs and oval all stamp sets, pretty in pink and whisper white card stock. It is a very simple card, and I hope you like it!

Hey, I saw this post on this blog! SHe says she has a new disease! I got curious and hopped over to take a look and thought it is so hilarious! It sure sums up all the conversations I have had in my mind to the T! So thought I must share it here, as we all demo's have to inspire, create and share... and this is what this post is all about... I love all of the new sets in the Stampin'UP US catalogue, and hope at least some of them will be in our new catalogue in September... I for one simply cannot understand why we get treated as the poor cousins! with the internet and ebay you can pretty much get what you want now a days,if you pay the price!

I have not been in a good mood today, as its hot and I am in a lot of pain, and have so much to do and so little time.... and more bad news, so here is a card I made in 10 mins - like they say in the magazine "Take Ten" and am off to the post office to get it in the mail.... hope you like it, it is a fairly easy technique I did when I made a mistake while embossing a cuttlebug folder, I think it looks good...LOL Let me know if you like it too!

I feel totally exhausted, in every way the worst part of it is I wake up early hours of the morning and cannot go back to sleep and when it is actually time to wake up, I want to go to sleep.... I know there are a lot of things going on in my life at the moment, but they not as bad as so many people I know around me and well in the world too! mostly loosing their jobs and homes!! So I had to have a go at MJ's Sketch as it is a very straight forward and lovely easy sketch... so here is my take at the challenge,

I hope you like it, I surely do and will use it as a sympathy card!! as a close friend of mine lost her brother, and she seems to have taken it very bad, as they were very close. Well, the heat is killing too here in England, although my DH has had portable A/C's placed in the house... so life is bearable from the stifling heat! Have a nice day, I have to go shopping for worktops for my new studio this morning, so I shall be away all day, if I can manage my pain@#!** which is not that bad today! See ya later.....

Stampin'Up Field Training at Peterborough

Well, yesterday was the SU - Field Training for Demonstrators in Peterborough, 23 ladies attended! I was very nervous as I was suppose to drive there on my own, my DH promised that he would take me and on the morning of the 23rd said, I am leaving for the US, and it will be a waste of time for him to sit there for 2 or 3 hours unnecessarily! Well, I almost did not go, as I also had my Physio appointment, since my Physio lady is my latest customer, she said go, you will be fine!
I had not been in so much pain the whole day, I left the house at 5.15pm to be there for 7pm, for a journey that my SatNav said would take 41mins! I wasn't taking the bullock cart nor was I walking there! the journey was much easier than I anticipated and I got there for 6.00pm! When I got in to the hotel reception, there was a lady sitting in the lounge, so I asked her if she was Stampin'Up, and we got talking and I was really happy to have met her, her name is Jo Austin, and she is from Doncaster! waves. She was so sweet, that she even got me a drink (non alcoholic of course, as I was driving back). Since we were there an hour early we thought we would have dinner!! which turned out to be a disaster, as the fire alarm went off and we had to leave our dinner half way through and rush out, the whole meeting was delayed by half hour!
It was a fun evening, Paula talked about how to promote out business, and we made two projects and also got a stamp set free "A Beautiful Thing" here are the M & T's.

I enjoyed this meeting more compared to the one I went to in September 2008 held at HW! but to the end of the meeting, I started with terrible pain, so driving back home was a chore, and my DH was very worried that he kept calling, as it took me more than and hour to get back, I hate driving at night! Well I got home at 11.20pm, having left Peterborough at 10pm! so ya know how slow I drove....

Stamping411 - SSC104 Challenge

Well, this weekend was nice with lovely weather, but I have been in agony, tomorrow is my physio appointment, not looking forward to it. Since, I was a bit late with my entry for the last challenge SSC103, I wanted to take part in this one, as I liked the sketches presented by this team. This card did not turn out of what I had imagined, I also had this set out as I had made AYC's with it, so I went a head and made it, when I was finished and as I was closing the stamp pad it fell on the card, I did not have the energy to start over again, I put it everywhere, so that I could fix it! LOL! So don't wonder what happened to my card! Hope you like it! I may do one tomorrow, as I am not very happy with this one!

Workshop for SSA Ladies at Michaelhouse cafe

I was a bit nervous and a bit excited! Well both of those things and suffering with a whole lot of pain! Julia, a Schlumberger Spouse and the Activities Co-ordinator for the Cambridge Chapter, organised a crafting/scrapbook morning with a lunch later! It was lovely to meet all the new ladies - they made the cards I have shown in the previous post, crazy for cupcake set from Stampin-up!It was a fun morning, Julia will organise another workshop when she gets back in September (gone for the summer. With all the excitement, I forgot to take pictures! well may be next time! Have fun will be back later... although I am not sure, as I am suffering too much today too!

Stamping 411 - SSC102

I started a card for the Stamping 411 challenge, made it but did not like it!!So I made another one, and then another one. First I made the green and pink one, and hated the colour combo and I was not at all happy the way it turned out! Then I made the second card with the cupcake, that I will use for a workshop demo I have tomorrow, I did like it but felt it was too simple! So I made a third one with the same layout, and not I do like this one, I used flowersoft too! Here they are all, please tell me which one do you like? it will be nice to find out! Vintage Tags

Now, what does one connect vintage with, I haven't a clue - for me it is with Cars and Wine, but within the stamping world it is something else! Kathy came up with this idea to create Vintage Tags to swap over at England Stampers Yahoo group.

It was another mingle for May/June to make 6 vintage theme tags, then swap with 3 people sending 2 different tags to each person on the vintage tag list. Here is my take, and I did have fun making them, except that I have too much on my plate right now, and have been in a lot of pain, since I had my Physio yesterday! Yell! Stampin Studio

Well, When we lived in Dubai I had a huge room as my studio it was 20'x 20'!! So when we moved to the UK, I wanted a room for my hobby and Chris for his hobby! so I took over the dining room until my studio could be built, and it is almost there... and I cannot wait to move in, it would have been ready this month, but the insulation company delayed us, and finally with hundreds of calls to them, it finally arrived... so I am hoping my studio will be ready soon! here are the pictures of the room at the moment!!

I follow Lee's blog and she is on the Design Team of a new blog and they have their first sketch challenge, I never do challenges, except the CAS cards on SCS, but this one seemed a pretty easy sketch, I love this set "Bloomin' with Beauty" when it came out, I just had to have it, although I must say I have not used it as much as I thought I would! pity is the only stamp I love in the set is the Bee! It seems like this will be a great blog to follow as there are some amazing stampers on there... connie, Lee and Gretchen!

Graduation Card

Pat lives about four houses away from our house, she is a very sweet lady and has become a great friend to me! She asked me if I could make a card for her son, who was receiving his Masters degree today at Ely Cathedral. I knew that this meant a lot to her. I did not know where to start as I don't have any Graduation Stamp sets, I did have one, when it retired I sold it, as I did not like it very much! so I remembered the very talented Stamper Mel at Melstampz, way back in February she had posted this gorgeous card. So, I spent a whole day looking for it on her blog.... duh, and found it, now I did not have the card stock nor did I have the background stamp. Well, I came up with this one, stamp used is Stampin'up, from the set Papa's pocket (retired) and the card used is from a UK paper store in St. Neot's! I made the envelope in the shape of a graduation cap, but I could not take a picture as my battery died on me! but I like the way it turned out and Pat liked it too!

Every month, over at the Technique Junkies a 1-4-1 card swap is held. I took part in the May Card Swap. My Partner was Vicki Potter, she sent me this lovely bandana technique card and also a lovely handmade necklace! Thank you Vicki for your gift and card.

I had made a card for her as soon as I signed up, but my DH dropped red wine on it, when I was writing the envy! and I could not rescue it, so I got delayed! Well I had to start all over again. Its been some time since I got my copic markers and I love, love them! This weekend, Chris booked for me to attend a course which was held in Walcote,Leics by Stamps & Memories!! Well he drove me there and back.
I did have a fun time, met a few lovely stmapin' ladies! and picked up more goodies! Initially, I was a little bit bored, but after the first 30 minutes it got very interesting. But, its a big but!! I still love my stampin-up products! and here is a video for you to watch that Shelli Gardner did on You Tube, love this set, its not in the UK catalogue but I have it! its called "Always" its simply beautiful, the heart stamp in that set as well as the bird stamp, enjoy!

I love working with pastels, and Stampin-up has a great box of pastels, in their 48 colour range! I also follow the Panpastel website, and they seem to give some lovely technique on how to use them, for beginner as well as advanced pastel users! Check it out here.

I had this message sent to me through a group I belong to, that I had bad mouthed some lady and said nasty things about her! Firstly, I am disgusted about it, and secondly, I don't know many ladies in this stamping/crafting world in the UK, the ones I know and have met I can count them on my finger tips - I would never talk ill about anyone, may pass an opinion about something, but I don't like to talk ill about anyone! its not fair, but I suppose, with women gossips, statements get interpreted mostly differently.... it has upset me, as I don't even know the person except that I have had only e-mail correspondence and more over don't know the lady who mentioned it to me either, but then again, I am upset........ I hope that they get to know me who I am and what I represent! Life is hard enough as it is, and why do people do this to each other I haven't a clue!!!!!!!!! life is short so love one and other..... and be kind to somebody who is not kind to you, as they may be having a bad time, that you are unaware of......... with this note I will say good night and go to bed! My DH supports my wonderful hobby - but since I have not been well, with the major back problem and running into allergic reactions to everything and anything.....LOL, I have been comforting myself by simply buying stamping stuff.... so today, I was hoping to calculate what I have spent in the last 3 months...... boy I got a shock!! and now I know why DH say, why don't you buy shares with these company's!! I have an appointment today with the surgeon, so wish me luck as I am hoping I don't go there..... its been a bad day since yesterday!!

My Physio on the 15th went fine, although it was painful as hell, I was very determined to do all of the exercises the lady was asking, it has been tough doing them, as I have to do them as often as possible, with the meds and the exercise, I have felt about 10% better, although the pain is still there.... am taking it easy too, and doing a little bit of sorting out, as my studio is being built and will be ready in a few weeks... hooray!! will post the card I made for Chris's cousin's birthday tomorrow.... to visit back to see it!!

Well I am still alive!! and have an answer at last....

Its been several weeks, I have been very ill and in excruciating pain, some days I could not even move or get out of bed, something needed to be done, so the issue was forced upon our GP for me to go private, and after all the tests and MRI, it has been found that I have 6 prolapsed discs and 2 of them are really bad - so now I will have to take physio for 6 weeks, with my first appointment on the 15th of April, until then I am still in pain..... and if that does not improve, will need to go into surgery. Well, I am hoping it will work with the physio, as I have allergies to all the main pain killers as well as GA, its been a tough fight the last few months or must I say two years, as it all started when we moved to Cambridge - but at least now I know its not anything serious, and its not related to my breast tumour!

I am trying to stay positive, until things can get sorted out, I have not been able to do any stamping nor update my blog - since I can take limited pain killers, I am trying to work with the ones I can take, so the pain is still there, which makes me very immobile.

I have missed so much of my stamping stuff, that I am having withdrawal symptoms - just buying stuff like crazy!!

Well the Stampin-up mini catalogue is out, and there are some fab sets in there, as soon as I have my pain/mobility sorted out, I will hold a workshop to introduce the mini! interested in joining me, let me know by e-mail or simply leave a message on my blog! see you soon with my Easter projects!

Tears of Joy from the bottom of my heart..... on Valentines Day

I was suppose to post this on the 15th of Feb, well its better late than never!!

My heart just did a bounce.....This is a story to tell. I’ve been married for 10 years and on Valentines day my DH surprised me in such a way that my heart just took a big bounce!! He is a total romantic, and I am not, he surprises me all the time but this was a really big one. I was busy preparing for my daughters arrival most of the day and had left him alone to work on his Radios - I had tons of stuff that I needed get done. He cooked me a lovely breakfast and then said, I need to borrow your glasses, and I was like you have yours why do you want mine... and then I turned around to pick mine and there was a lovely red envelope, and below that was a huge box ... it was the Big Shot, you cannot imagine how long I was speechless! totally numb with a 32 teeth smile on my face. My heart simply bounced with multiple heart beats. So he asked, do you like what I got you? I said, Yes! several times!! so, now I will have to go get all the SU die's that I have been drooling on, mostly I wish they sell them in the UK catalogue soon!!

The Sale-a-bration workshop that I held a few days ago, went badly, not a single order - I feel really disgusted with the attitude of the ladies here, just makes me feel sick!! I made these in December for a swap over on ILWS, little 3x3 note cards,they are so much fun, I just want to say, that once you do them you will love them and you get hooked into making them!! These little beauties were made using all of Stampin-up products. I love working on small little pieces of art work i.e dominos, inchies, twinches, ATC's, 3x3 note cards as well as the love notes!

During this time of year everyone seems to get ultra crazy (at least that is what I think) with all the shopping for gifts, food and decorating, wrapping, cleaning, entertaining, visiting others, preparing huge meals, well it just does not stop!!
and then it is all over in just 24 hours.......
