I am going mad....

Its been weeks since I have been trying to upload the convention pictures... blogger seems to do something, today I waited for 28 minutes to get one picture up and then gave up... so I will definitely post them... please bear with me!

Well it is Stampin'Up Europe Convention time...

a whole month has passed by, I could not get on to the internet, it has been up and down!! it is still so slow that I get very frustrated and simply don't want to get on the internet.... never mind, I have made a promise to myself, that I will stop moaning about things in my life....

I am heading to the convention which is on the 5th and 6th of November.... I am looking forward to it!!

I am feeling much better, my back pain seems to be behaving itself, but I am still having other problems, and I feel the longer I ignore them they may disappear, but then there is no hope of that, as it get worst than before....

My blog candy that I offered in the month of September was won by Linda Davies, she will be over on Monday the 8th to collect it!! Thank you to all the ladies that took part in my blog candy.

As usual, I am hoping but not promising to keep up my blog, it has been a tough ride for me for the last few years, and I have finally accepted that I am suffering from FMS (Fibromyalgia) which was diagnosed about a year ago!

Another day - browsing the net.........

Well, I got to see the Chiropractor on Monday with an emergency appointment! which has helped my pain a lot, but I have strict orders to rest and not to even do housework! LOL, that is good! although I don't have a lot of pain in my back my hands are still swollen and painful - so still blog hopping and coming across lovely stampin artwork! Pain, Pain go away...........

Having been in awful lot of pain, and getting no answers, I have chosen to spend my time blog browsing, at least that is keeping me from shopping on-line! I came across Diane's blog and liked all of her lovely tutorials so, I am sharing it here... have fun, I am sure going to give some of them a try! So here ya go! A whole week....

has flow by so quickly, I have been busy with daily appointments with the various clinics I attend to control my pain issues!! I have also made some progress in my craft room, and will soon be posting up pics....

Quite a weekend.........searching for my lost mojo!

Well, this weekend was fabulous, the weather, food et all... Chris took me to the Chambridge fair - it was fun, specially as we heard this young band - Th' Parish, it was fab, the singer had a style that was amazing - reminded me of one of the woodstock bands!! well I got their CD, with the singer to sign it, so in the near future I will say, I met this band in person!! Ha haha!
Health wise, I am doing a lot better, and hoping that my hands get better and better! on another note, my friend Kathy is going away for the summer, so I am feeling a bit sad as I will miss her, specially our chats!! have a fun trip girl and we shall stay in touch!
I don't have any cards to post, as I have found out I have simply lost my mojo... am trying so if I do get inspired I will be back with it soon! Take care and have a fun sunny day! it been dull here, but it is dry!! Thank you for stopping by!! Hugs always!

I feel better and better...

Oh my Goodness!! it has been the longest time MIA from blog Land for moi??? Well all I can say is wish you a great weekend and a sunny month of July! Although, I have not been posting cards, I tried to keep some of the Stampin'up news updated!!

So, you see I am still alive, obviously, as I am typing this yukk!!! I’ve been pretty ill with one problem after another, Its the pain that I am living with which is effecting my hands and I am not very happy about it!!Since nobody can find out what is causing the pain it has made me very depressed, specially when your mind is racing with ideas and things you want to do, but your body is simply saying no!! Well, my hobby of Stamping has kept me sane, not sure that I am stamping a lot, but believe me buying a lot of stuff....

In the last few month I’ve moved out of my craft room into my newly built stamping studio, as I like to call it! I promise I will post some photos of it soon, possibly this week, if I don't have more bouts of pain!

So I hope you are not bored with my post, I do have a few cards made and will surely post them soon, and as soon as I have my Stampin' Studio up and working I do intend to be back in full swing and pray my body will behave itself!!

Patrick Swayze

I woke up to the very sad news on Tuesday to hear Patrick Swayze had died - I was crazy about Dirty Dancing when it came out, and the movie Ghost?!! My husband and I watched an interview with him and his wife a little while ago on TV, He was so positive and his wife seemed so in love and supportive of him and his fight against the cancer. I really liked him as an actor and he seems to have been a good man in real life. Such a sad loss of someone so young, really thinking of his family today.

My Laptop and Yahoo !!

Since last Thursday I was not receiving any e-mails on my yahoo account! every time I logged in to my yahoo mail, my computer would freeze! So if you have not heard from me or have not had a response from me there is a reason! As soon as I have that sorted out I will get back to you all!! Sorry for the inconvenience! Bye for now!

Get Well Card from Michelle

On Monday, I got this lovely card, the writing on the envelope looked familiar, it was post marked central Cambridge - I rushed and opened it, and I did not need to open it to look inside the card, I knew at once it was from Michelle, my up-line! they are her colours and style!! Thank you Michelle.

I hope we can someday soon stamp together! if I was not in so much pain and also having all the bits and bobs with it, I would have organised something, but it is so unpredictable!

I am still alive........

Today has been the first day since I have been feeling a little better, its been a couple of bad weeks - well I had all the good intentions specially as I was getting better, and then all went wrong. I have had so many health issues crop up that I have not been able to do a thing, except feel sorry for myself and more depressed than ever. I will not go into details as it only makes me feel worst than ever!!

I made an effort to come on here and thank each and every one of you for making me feel good and leaving me comforting messages, thank you so much it mean a lot to me, I know that there are people out there that do care and do visit my blog, even if it is to just pass by and sneak a peek... well, I hope I can post the card I am working on today, as I have to make this one, its a special one... hoping I can have it ready so that I will at least mail it by internet to my best friend.... whose birthday is on the 17th of August!!

Sorry for not being here....

I don't have a card to post as I have been in so much pain the last couple of days that I don't even know where I am, I can barely move, I am doubled up in pain. Hopefully tomorrow there will be some help, as I have my physio appointment! Chris is away and my dear neighbour has been so helpful! Oh thank God for all the people he sends our way!

I love my stamping hobby and I also love it that my DH supports my hobby and I have a nice room I work in and feel very lucky to have an entire room dedicated to my hobby of rubber stamping and paper crafting. I have about 400 stamp sets from Stampin'Up and many other companies with all the accessories that go with it! With all this lovely things I have, I feel so sad - as I have always enjoyed stamping/crafting with others, it is the most important thing with rubber stamping, having fun and enjoying and mostly sharing what I love and do! I have had so many workshops, and hoped that some one will come over and just sit along and stamp, but it has never happened!

So if you are reading this, you may wonder what is it! I haven't a clue, may be you can leave me a comment or let me know what I should do? When I lived in the US and in Dubai, I use to hide and make excuses as I had too many ladies interested in stamping, but here in England it seems like there is a problem!! well, I am also in that mood where I feel so ill, hence I am moaning about it!

My wonderful friend Kathy, lives too far, I wish we could do some stamping! So please let me know, How to fix this if you know how! Being a Stampin'Up demo, the motto is Inspire - Create - Share and I love doing all that with Stamping! See you tomorrow in a better frame of mind! Bye for now!

Stampin'Up Demo's - DUMDUMSS.....

Hey, I saw this post on this blog! SHe says she has a new disease! I got curious and hopped over to take a look and thought it is so hilarious! It sure sums up all the conversations I have had in my mind to the T! So thought I must share it here, as we all demo's have to inspire, create and share... and this is what this post is all about... I love all of the new sets in the Stampin'UP US catalogue, and hope at least some of them will be in our new catalogue in September... I for one simply cannot understand why we get treated as the poor cousins! with the internet and ebay you can pretty much get what you want now a days,if you pay the price!

Awful remarks

I had this message sent to me through a group I belong to, that I had bad mouthed some lady and said nasty things about her! Firstly, I am disgusted about it, and secondly, I don't know many ladies in this stamping/crafting world in the UK, the ones I know and have met I can count them on my finger tips - I would never talk ill about anyone, may pass an opinion about something, but I don't like to talk ill about anyone! its not fair, but I suppose, with women gossips, statements get interpreted mostly differently.... it has upset me, as I don't even know the person except that I have had only e-mail correspondence and more over don't know the lady who mentioned it to me either, but then again, I am upset........ I hope that they get to know me who I am and what I represent! Life is hard enough as it is, and why do people do this to each other I haven't a clue!!!!!!!!! life is short so love one and other..... and be kind to somebody who is not kind to you, as they may be having a bad time, that you are unaware of......... with this note I will say good night and go to bed! Oh What a relief.....

My Physio on the 15th went fine, although it was painful as hell, I was very determined to do all of the exercises the lady was asking, it has been tough doing them, as I have to do them as often as possible, with the meds and the exercise, I have felt about 10% better, although the pain is still there.... am taking it easy too, and doing a little bit of sorting out, as my studio is being built and will be ready in a few weeks... hooray!! will post the card I made for Chris's cousin's birthday tomorrow.... to visit back to see it!!
