Stampin Up 2011-2012 catalogue

The new Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog was released in the United Kingdom on the 1st of October, it is valid until the 30th of September 2012.

It has a lot of new stamps, another set of five new in-colors, all new Designer papers and gorgeous ribbons and embellishments. is here, I am very excited about it! Although, we as demonstrators have had a sneak copy earlier than today, I have not been able to demo or show off any of the new stuff... as you all know, I am suffering with pain and there seems to be no end to it! not to mention the allergies and side effects the meds are causing is another thing all together......... well I shall not bore you with my miseries....
I put in the mail copies of the catalogues to all my lovely customers that support me with my hobby and business!!

Stampin'Up Field Training at Peterborough

Well, yesterday was the SU - Field Training for Demonstrators in Peterborough, 23 ladies attended! I was very nervous as I was suppose to drive there on my own, my DH promised that he would take me and on the morning of the 23rd said, I am leaving for the US, and it will be a waste of time for him to sit there for 2 or 3 hours unnecessarily! Well, I almost did not go, as I also had my Physio appointment, since my Physio lady is my latest customer, she said go, you will be fine!
I had not been in so much pain the whole day, I left the house at 5.15pm to be there for 7pm, for a journey that my SatNav said would take 41mins! I wasn't taking the bullock cart nor was I walking there! the journey was much easier than I anticipated and I got there for 6.00pm! When I got in to the hotel reception, there was a lady sitting in the lounge, so I asked her if she was Stampin'Up, and we got talking and I was really happy to have met her, her name is Jo Austin, and she is from Doncaster! waves. She was so sweet, that she even got me a drink (non alcoholic of course, as I was driving back). Since we were there an hour early we thought we would have dinner!! which turned out to be a disaster, as the fire alarm went off and we had to leave our dinner half way through and rush out, the whole meeting was delayed by half hour!
It was a fun evening, Paula talked about how to promote out business, and we made two projects and also got a stamp set free "A Beautiful Thing" here are the M & T's.

I enjoyed this meeting more compared to the one I went to in September 2008 held at HW! but to the end of the meeting, I started with terrible pain, so driving back home was a chore, and my DH was very worried that he kept calling, as it took me more than and hour to get back, I hate driving at night! Well I got home at 11.20pm, having left Peterborough at 10pm! so ya know how slow I drove....

Workshop for SSA Ladies at Michaelhouse cafe

I was a bit nervous and a bit excited! Well both of those things and suffering with a whole lot of pain! Julia, a Schlumberger Spouse and the Activities Co-ordinator for the Cambridge Chapter, organised a crafting/scrapbook morning with a lunch later! It was lovely to meet all the new ladies - they made the cards I have shown in the previous post, crazy for cupcake set from Stampin-up!It was a fun morning, Julia will organise another workshop when she gets back in September (gone for the summer. With all the excitement, I forgot to take pictures! well may be next time! Have fun will be back later... although I am not sure, as I am suffering too much today too!

Okay, I am back..... with some great Stampin-up news

Well, I have been MIA and Yes, I am still alive although still not doing so well health wise! Please accept my apologies for simply being away for so long and not posting a thing. The reason for all this absence is that I have been battling with a health problem I have had before we moved to the UK, as well as my daughter's visa situation that drove me crazy, which now has been resolved, but we are still in waiting!! it has been a huge challenge to say the least, since we moved here to the UK!

Anyway, all of the above has taken over my time and life, but now things are seeming to be settling down a bit, even though in the last few days I have had a bad bout of flu, well I have made it to my blog finally........ I am now going to try and post as often as I can with at least once a week in mind!! as I am not sure where the time flies off......

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope that Santa brought you all the nicest things you wanted to get/receive! I did do pretty well myself..... got a few nice things as well as some cash to spend on my hobby... Woooo hooo!

I would like to thank all of you who have left comments and sent me emails, your kind thoughts have helped me through this somewhat crazy time.

I still feel so sick.....

I love stamping, so many ideas flowing through, so much fun to have, but I have been really down with awful pain, that the blooming doctors cannot diagnose!! but I am still plodding away with my stamping, as I had placed adverts in the near by villages, and I have had quite a good response! as we have moved here a year ago, its been nice to meet some more craft/stamp enthusiast!!

Well, I have to get some stamping done, as I have so many new stamps and so little time to play.... see you later! hopefully the pain will disappear... at least so I hope!

Flying by........

Wow, time is flying by quicker than I can breath... I have been down, last few days have been miserable, I hate it, I could not even get off the bed without help - but today is another day, have been doing much better - my DH, he is a star, he is so understanding and I am so blessed to have him in my life.

I have received my huge order or excitement almost 25Lbs of stampin-Up stuff... stuff ahan.. so I have been busy lying in bed mounting and cutting rubber.... so hopefully I will be able to do some serious stamping in the next few weeks.... have fun and enjoy myself, so any of you ladies that read my blog, hop on over to my place if you want to have some fun!!

I have also decided that I will ask for one of my Christmas presents the COPIC markers, which are the rave about in the crafting world right now... and I came across this list on Jessica's Blog which she has put together - copic colours that match with Stampin-up colours!!
